2026 WINTER STUDY ELECTIVE OPTIONS

Welcome to the Thrive Women’s Ministry Winter 2026 Session!
We had a terrific fall session and are so excited about what God will be teaching us this winter. For the Winter 2026 session, we are offering two elective options, available for both morning and evening groups.

One of our electives is Rooted, a special churchwide experience. Other ministries and independent small groups throughout the church will also be participating, and Pastor Bucky will be teaching through the Rooted series on Sundays. You do not need to be part of South Park to join this exciting study.

For those who may already be participating in Rooted through another small group, we will also be offering Joshua as an alternative elective.

Please read the descriptions below and choose the study that would be most encouraging for you in this season of your walk with the Lord.

Study Electives:

Rooted: Connecting with God, the Church, and Your Purpose (Morning and Evening)
Rooted is a powerful experience designed for both long-time believers and those new to faith. It includes daily readings, personal reflection questions, and a weekly small group gathering.Together, we will explore questions such as:
How does God speak to us?
Where is He in the midst of suffering?
Is there an enemy?
How can I make the most of my life?
How does God view money?
Why and how should I tell others?
Why is the Church important?

Joshua (Morning and Evening)
The book of Joshua chronicles God’s continued faithfulness in fulfilling His covenant promises to Abraham. In this 10-week, verse-by-verse study, Jen Wilkin helps us see that God’s commands—though sometimes difficult—are always rooted in His steadfast love for His people.

Israel’s story is our story. While they battled physical enemies, we battle not against flesh and blood, but against the temptations of the world, the flesh, and the devil. Through this study, we will learn to trust in the finished work of the true and better Joshua—Jesus Christ.
